  1. To install a Passpoint profile on Android, make sure to open the Passpoint installation site using the Chrome browser.
  2. Next, tap the “Install Profile” button on the installation site. A “Success” message should appear.
  3. A dialog box will appear stating that the ‘passpoint.config’ file has been downloaded. Tap “Open”.
  4. A new popup will appear asking if you want to install Wi-Fi credentials. Tap “Install”.
  5. Next, a “Credentials Installed” message will appear. Tap “Done”.
  6. That’s it! Your profile should now be installed.
  7. Your device will now automatically connect to supported Passpoint networks.
  8. If your device is not connecting after downloading a profile, make sure that the setting Hotspot 2.0 is enabled. To find the “Hotspot 2.0” setting, use the search feature within Settings.

  1. To install a Passpoint profile on iOS, make sure you’ve opened the Passpoint installation site using Safari.
  2. Next, tap the “Install Profile” button on the Passpoint installation site. Once it’s been installed you should see a “Success” message.
  3. Next, a pop-up will appear asking you to download a profile. Tap “Allow”.
  4. Close the popup notification and open the Settings app within your phone.
  5. Below your account name you should see a “Profile Downloaded” menu item. Tap this menu item to see the Passpoint profile you need to install.
  6. Tap “Install” in the upper right, enter your device passcode, and tap “Install” again at the bottom of the screen.
  7. The profile is now installed and you can tap “Done” in the upper right.
  8. That’s it! Your profile should now be installed.
  9. Your device will now automatically connect to supported Passpoint networks.

  1. To install a Passpoint profile on MacOS, make sure you’ve opened the Passpoint installation site using Safari.
  2. Next, tap the “Install Profile” button on the Passpoint installation site. Once it’s been installed you should see a “Success” message.
  3. Next, a pop-up will appear asking if you want to install the Passpoint profile. Click “Install”.
  4. If you’re prompted to enter your password or TouchID, please do so.
  5. That’s it! Your profile should now be installed.
  6. Your device will now automatically connect to supported Passpoint networks.

  1. To install a Passpoint profile on Windows 10 or 11, make sure to open the Passpoint installation site using Edge or Chrome.
  2. Next, click the Install Profile button on the installation site.
  3. The browser may ask for permission to open Windows Settings. Click Open.
  4. After the download completes, a Profile downloaded message will appear.
  5. A settings box will also appear asking if you want to add the Wi-Fi network. Click Add.
  6. That’s it! Your profile should now be installed.
  7. Your device will now automatically connect to supported Passpoint networks.
